There is no point in you getting a Steam version if you already purchased the game before. Originally posted by DrAgO:Yes but some of us already supported you once with our founders packs, now your asking us to pay again.Quite the contrary - you CANNOT link your existing account with steam even if you were to buy the steam version. There is no need to charge people a second time for the same client files you freely offer owners of the game from your website. I ask at the very least to allow any FOUNDERS who backed you all through the process (if not even all new players) the opportunity to be able to have this title in their libraries for free with the intent to go to your site, register, and apply a trial key provided by referrers like myself and their friends. Yes I understand I can play the game outside steam but the ability for my friends to contact me, tracking of the time played, and all the other steam features such as using their servers to keep my files up to date are all part of steam I cannot use. I own a copy of the game from being a founder originally intended for it to be free, and here I have to fork over another $20-$30 to own the game I already own on steam. Why isn’t the client file here on steam essentially the game and lock it so that if you don’t register on their site you cannot play it? While I understand and accept the fact you changed your minds and even agree with the reasoning for making the game pay to play, I do not see the reasoning behind charging for the game on steam. Back when I backed your game in the second round of alpha testing for $50, this game was supposed to be free to play on steam at release.
